More than 20,000 lawsuits requesting personal compensation for physical and mental abuse have been filed by former camp detainees against Republika Srpska, Federation of BiH, and the state of BiH.Despite the long-winded court processes and huge financial expenses, former detainees are not giving up on their rights. So far, only one pursuant managed to win the lawsuit.

The guest of this month’s edition is transitional justice expert, Mervan Mirascija.
