After the Defence of Suad Kapic completed questioning all of their witnesses, they filed 16 pieces of material evidence, concluding this part of the trial. The Trial Chamber announced their wish to present evidence of their own, and they will inform relevant parties about it later.

The State Prosecution charges Suad Kapic, also known as ‘Hodza’ for having participated in the capture of six members of the Republika Srpska Army (VRS) on September 18 1995, in the Sanski Most area, and holds him responsible for the murder of four of them.

Most of the material evidence consists of witness statements, which appeared before the State Court during the Kapic trial, and some newspaper articles have also been filed containing pictures of the indictee beside the text, which, the Defence considers, could influence certain witnesses.

During their testimony, survivors Dragan Stupar and Milovan Mastikosa claimed they did not have the opportunity to see the printed photograph of Kapic.

Talking about relevance of their testimonies, Defence attorney Suad Kreho stated that it shows that more than one person with nickname ‘Hodza’ existed, and the state of corpses of the murdered prisoners is disputable.
