Before the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Detektor team visited Kiev, where the fight against Russian media disinformation about events in this area is considered part of the war, since untruths can be almost as destructive as weapons.

Experts in the fight against disinformation warn that the intensification of Russian disinformation is usually a prelude to more aggressive actions by Russia, which calls for caution in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.

How a TikTokker Used Religion to Obtain Money for Gambling
Presenting himself as a religious authority and humanitarian, Alen Kotoric used the TikTok profile Hadžija to collect money from followers around the world for months, convincing them they were helping elderly people, single mothers and orphans. Detektor’s journalists show that some of the donated money ended up in betting shops - which Kotoric has admitted - and that a criminal complaint has been filed against him on suspicion of fraud.
