A huge solar power plant is under construction in Komanje Brdo in Stolac, which was presented as a significant investment in renewable energy sources, with a total investment of approximately 100 million marks [51 million euros]. It was announced that this place is expected to become the largest photovoltaic facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina once the plant is completed. However, the project has been mired in controversy from the start. From a sanctioned Chinese company on the US blacklist due to its military ties, to a dead worker, to the dozens of illegal Chinese workers who were recently brought to light.
