According to the prosecution’s charges, Babic participated in the murder, physical abuse and mental suffering of the non-Serb civilian population from the Glamoc area. He allegedly participated in the pillaging and destruction of their property as well.

According to the indictment, Babic approached a house inhabited by four Bosniak civilians (including a child) in October 1992. The indictment alleges that Babic pointed his automatic rifle through a window and opened fire, killing an elderly woman. The prosecution alleges that Babic intended to deprive all of the inhabitants of their lives.

The prosecution also alleges that Babic and other members of the Bosnian Serb Army physically abused an elderly Bosniak woman, after stopping her on the road between the villages of Kamen and Jakir. The woman died from her injuries.

According to a previous announcement by the prosecution, Babic and two other Bosnian Serb Army soldiers allegedly mistreated an underage minor in the village of Jakir. Babic allegedly interrogated him and took his money.

Babic was arrested at the beginning of September 2015, when prohibitive measures were ordered against him.
