Indictment Filed for Mistreatment and Abuse of Gorazde Prisoners by Former Guards

Muratovic and Ajanovic, former guards in a prison located in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) in Gorazde, have been charged with beating and mistreating two prisoners of war.
According to the charges, Muratovic, accompanied by two other guards, punched and kicked prisoner of war D.V., who lost consciousness several times. Muratovic and the two guards then poured water over D.V. to wake him and then continued beating him.
Ajanovic, acting in collaboration with two other guards, has been charged with kicking, punching and beating prisoner of war M.M. with a rubber baton. He allegedly forced M.M to say he was a Chetnik.
According to the indictment, injured parties D.V. and M.M. suffered from severe psychological and physical pain at the hands of the suspects.
The indictment has been filed with the state court for confirmation.
