Trial of Tomas Postponed
The cantonal court of Sarajevo has postponed the Momir Tomas trial because a court expert was unable to attend today’s hearing.
Trial chamber chair Jasmina Begic said neuropsychiatrist Abdulah Kucukalic had informed the court that he couldn’t attend the hearing due to a scheduling conflict with another trial hearing he had to attend at the Bosnian state court.
Tomas, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, has been charged with the physical abuse and inhumane treatment of Bosniak civilians in the village of Breza in the municipality of Hadzici on November 29, 1992.
The trial will continue on October 8.
