The Bosnian state prosecution confirmed that Sefer Dervisevic, a former member of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army, is suspected of having abused, tortured and humiliated Bosniak civilians, mainly women and the elderly, in the village of Sturlic in the municipality of Cazin in 1995.

He is also suspected of tying up women and forcing them to drag a car in tandem.

The state border police arrested Dervisevic on Sunday, July 19, when he was trying to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was handed over to the state prosecution this morning.
