Zilic and Gakic Trial Postponed Until October

The Ramo Zilic and Esad Gakic trial has been postponed due to the failure of two defense witnesses to appear in court.

Defense witnesses Esad Muhibic and Jure Sudar were expected to testify at today’s hearing at the cantonal court of Mostar.

Zilic and Gakic, former members of the Bosnian Army, have been charged with the inhumane treatment of Croat and Serb civilians detained at a Musala school in Konjic.

The trial continues on October 20.
