Ninkovic’s defense presented a registry of guard service work at the district prison of Doboj as material evidence – the document covers a period spanning January 1991-May 1995. The document allegedly contains no entries on Ninkovic’s shifts at the district prison of Doboj from May 10-August 1, 1992.

Former Doboj prison guard Branislav Ninkovic is being tried at the District Court of Doboj for having allegedly participated in the torture and abuse of detained non-Serb civilians from May 1992 to March 1993. The torture and abuse the civilians endured resulted in severe mental and physical suffering.

District prosecutor Slavko Krulj said he would further specify the indictment at the next hearing, when closing statements will be presented.
