Even today residents of Stari Vitez remember the third day of conflict between the Croatian Defence Council and the Bosnian Army. On April 18, 1993, the cistern loaded with 500 kilograms of explosives has exploded. It killed six and wounded 50 persons, erasing majority of houses to the ground.
