The presentation of evidence at the trial of Mario Frimel, who is charged with crimes in Hrasno neighbourhood, Sarajevo, has been completed with the inclusion of a few pieces of material evidence in the case file.
Sead Krestalica, Prosecutor with the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution, presented a decision, declaring the state of war, as well as a confirmation that the indictee was member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, from April 8, 1992 to January 12, 1995.
The material evidence included, among others, a military police’s decision, ordering custody for Mladen Blagovcanin and Zvonimir Bozic, which were signed by Ismet Bajramovic.
“Blagovcanin was deprived of liberty after the event, which is charged upon Frimel, due to a grounded suspicion that he co-operated with the enemy and a danger that he might flee,” Krestalica said.
Krestalica also presented a document, indicating that Zvonimir Bozic was a civilian, when he was arrested.
The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution charges Mario Frimel, former Commander of the “Ivan Krndelj” Unit with ABiH, with having unlawfully detained and physically and mentally abused Serbs in Hrasno neighbourhood, Sarajevo, at the beginning of October 1992.
The trial is due to continue on January 21, when two Defence witnesses will be examined.
