Indictee Martic Sick
The Cantonal Court in Zenica postpones the continuation of the trial for crimes in Zepce due to the illness of indictee Mate Martic.

The Defence of the indictee informed that Trial Chamber that the health condition of Martic, who lives in Croatia, was very bad and that it was not possible to predict when he would be able to attend the continuation of the trial.
Martic, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is charged with having escorted a group of captured members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, from a school building in Perkovici to military positions in July 1993. He allegedly then abused them, hit them on various parts of their bodies with a rifle butt and shot at two of them.
The Trial Chamber scheduled the continuation of the trial for January 12.
