A hearing to discuss a State Prosecution’s proposal for ordering prohibiting measures against Mirsad Tahirovic has been postponed due to absence of the indictee.

“The Court has no evidence that the indictee has received the invite for the hearing today,” judge Darko Samardzic said.

Tahirovic is charged with crimes against civilians and prisoners of war committed in the Jablanica area in 1993.

The former member of the “Zulfikar” Special Squad with the Main Command Headquarters of the Army of BiH is charged with having participated in the torture and abuse of civilians and prisoners of war, who were unlawfully detained in “The Battle of Neretva” Museum and at “Rogica Houses” in Jablanica and pillaging their property.

The indictment was confirmed on November 3.
