Verdict of Release against Merdzic Confirmed
The Supreme Court of Republika Srpska confirms a verdict pronounced by the District Court in Bijeljina, acquitting Nezir Merdzic of the charges for war crimes.

Jelena Despotovic, Secretary of the Supreme Court, said that an appeal filed by the District Prosecutor from Bijeljina was rejected as unfounded.
Merdzic was acquitted of the charges that he shot, while in an ambush, along with about ten other members of the Army of BiH, at a vehicle in Glogova village, near Bratunac, in June 1992, killing three Serb civilians.
