Indictment for Rape in Mostar Confirmed

The State Court confirms an indictment, charging Ibrahim Demirovic with having raped a female person in Potoci village, Mostar municipality.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, alleges that Demirovic, a former member of the 449th East Herzegovina Mountain Brigade with the Army of the Republic of BiH, who became Commander of the 47th Mountain Brigade later on, forced another person to have sexual intercourse with him in Potoci village in 1993.

Another indictment was filed against Demirovic, charging him, together with Enes Curic, Samir Kreso, Habib Copelj and Mehmed Kaminic, with having abused Croat civilians in a school building in Potoci in 1993.

On October 29 the Prosecution proposed that the two cases be merged.
