In its capacity as representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Network of Pilot Courts, the Novi Travnik Cantonal Court organized an open-door day, which was an opportunity for elementary and secondary school children, as well as law faculty students, to acquaint themselves with the work of this judicial institution.

“The Cantonal Court in Novi Travnik has marked the European Day of Civil Justice for the sixth year in a row. This year the Day is marked by organizing an open door-day and roundtable,” said Nedica Vukic, Secretary of the Cantonal Court in Novi Travnik.

As part of marking the European Day of Civil Justice, a roundtable on “Sexual Violence in Armed Conflicts” was held in Vitez. The roundtable participants discussed the standards and practices of processing of those cases, the international legal framework and possibilities for rape victims to settle their property and legal claims.

The roundtable was organized by the Cantonal Court of Novi Travnik with the support of the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH.
