The Bosnian prosecution on Friday raised an indictment against Salkic, charging him with war crimes against civilians.
It alleges that the Bosnian Army soldier illegally detained a Serb civilian on June 4, 1992, and took him to Kozlovac, where he beat, abused and tortured the prisoner, cut him with a knife and threatened to slit his throat.
The indictment has been sent to the state court for confirmation.
