Appellate Session in Scuks Case Postponed
An appellate session before the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH, in order to discuss a verdict under which Zehrudin Scuk was sentenced to six years in prison for crimes in Jablanica, was postponed, because the indictee and his Defence attorney were not able to appear in courtroom.

Trial Chamber Chairwoman Zorica Gogala said that Defence attorney Almin Dautbegovic sent a fax prior to the beginning of this hearing, indicating that he was not able to come to the hearing due to health reasons and that the indictee could not come for personal reasons.
A new session is scheduled for September 10.
In April, this year the Cantonal Court in Mostar pronounced Scuk guilty of having killed a Croat civilian in Krkaca hamlet on July 28, 1993.
He was previously sentenced to six years but the Supreme Court of BiH quashed the verdict and ordered a retrial.
