The Chamber rejected appeals against the first instance verdict pronounced on June 12, 2013 filed by the Prosecution of BiH and Defence, saying that they were unfounded.

Prosic was found guilty of having participated in the unlawful detention of civilians from Muhici, Mahala and Otoka villages on May 27, 1992. The detained men were then subjected to bodily and mental abuse.

He was acquitted of the charges for murder of civilians.

Prosic was held in custody from November 2011 to the pronouncement of the first instance verdict in June last year, when he was released under prohibiting measures.
