Kovacevic was found guilty of punching and kicking the prisoners of war and beating them with batons, together with other Bosnian army military policeman, and forcing them to sing Bosnian nationalist songs while they were being driven from Bihac and Cazin to Izacic.

Presiding judge Fikret Hodzic said that the other defendants were cleared of all charges due to insufficient evidence against them.

This verdict can be appealed at the Bosnian Federation’s supreme court.
