“The Court partially accepted an appeal by the Defence of Oric and quashed the verdict of the Cantonal court in Tuzla ordering a retrial before the Supreme Court,” said the court.

The Cantonal court in Tuzla in December last year sentenced Oric to four, and Salihovic and Ahmic to a year in prison each for beating Savo Tesic on July 17, 1995. Tesic was later killed by unknown soldiers.

This is the second time that the Federal Supreme Court quashed a verdict in this case.

In September 2012 it quashed a verdict under which Oric was given three, and both Salihovic and Ahmic a year in prison.
