The process against Maktouf, who was sentenced, in 2006, to five years in prison, was renewed due to wrong application of law. The pronouncement of the verdict is scheduled for Friday, July 11.
On Tuesday, July 8 the Appellate Chamber is due to hold a session at which the parties will present their appeals against a verdict from December last year, under which Savo Babic was acquitted of charges for crimes against humanity committed in Bratunac in 1992.
An additional witness is due to testify in defence of Predrag Milisavljevic on that same day. Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic are charged with crimes against the civilian population from Visegrad municipality in June 1992.
On Tuesday new witnesses are due to appear at the trial of Goran Vujovic, Miroslav Duka, Nedjeljko Kuljic and Zeljko Ilic, who are charged with crimes in Bileca. On that same day a status conference will be held in the case against Oliver Krsmanovic, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad.
The continuation of the trial of Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Ivan Medic, Edib Buljubasic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic is scheduled for Tuesday, just like the examination of a Defence’s expert witness at the trial of Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian Nicolae-Vintila, whom the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges with crimes in Sarajevo.
On Monday, July 7 the trials are due to continue in the case against Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic and Nihad Bojadzic, who are charged with crimes in Trusina, as well as Savo Tepic, Dragoslav Bojic, Dusko Vujicic, Dusko Maksimovic, Radojko Keverovic, Rade Skoric and Ilija Kurusic, who are indicted for crimes in Kotor-Varos.
On Monday and Tuesday new witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica. The trial of Dragan Sekaric, who is indicted for crimes in Gorazde and Visegrad, continues on Monday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, July 9 the trial is due to continue in the case against Goran Popovic, who is charged with crimes committed in Visegrad.
The continuation of the trials of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica, Marinko Bjelica, Zoran Bjelica and Novica Tripkovic, who are indicted for crimes in Kalinovik, as well as Vitomir Rackovic for crimes in Visegrad is scheduled for Wednesday.
On Thursday, July 10 the trials are due to continue in the case against Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember, who are charged with crimes in Hadzici, Indira Kameric, who is indicted for crimes in Bosanski Brod in 1992, as well as Nikola Maric, who is charged with crimes in Prozor.
One day later the trials are due to continue in the case against Safet Mujcinovic, Zijad Hamzic, Selman Busnov, Nusret Muhic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Hariz Habibovic, Osman Gogic and Kahro Vejzovic, who are charged with crimes in Kladanj, Josip Tolic for crimes in Odzak and Bosanski Brod, as well as Vehid Subotic, who is on trial for crimes in Zenica.
The retrial of Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are charged with crimes in Krajina, continues before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of BiH on Wednesday.
