Trial Postponed Due to Witnesses’ Absence

The trial of Azemin Sadikovic, who is charged with crimes committed in the Hadzici area, has been postponed, because two Defence witnesses fail to appear in court.

“Considering the fact that witnesses Said Rizvic and Novica Milosevic have not appeared at the main trial, the hearing is postponed,” said Jasenko Ruzic, Chairman of the Trial Chamber with the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo.

Defence attorney Midhat Koco said that he contacted the witnesses and that they promised that they would come.

Sadikovic, former member of the armed forces of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, is charged with having killed four Serb civilians in Kasatici village in May 1992.

Witnesses Rizvic and Milosevic will be invited again to appear at the next hearing scheduled for April 29.
