Trial Chamber Chairman Darko Samardzic said that Dr. Zorica Lazarevic examined the indictee, but additional examinations, which had still not been performed, were needed.

Although Dr. Lazarevic said that the additional examinations should preferably be done at the hospital in Sarajevo, the Trial Chamber complied with Kornjaca’s wish to do it at the Foca hospital.

As said by Samardzic, the examination is due to be conducted on Wednesday, November 27.

The expert examination of the indictee has been postponed several times already.

Kornjaca, former Commander of “Plavi Orlovi” (“Blue Eagles”) paramilitary unit, is charged with having participated in crimes against Bosniaks in 1992.

At this hearing the Defence presented material evidence, but it was not explained what the documents were about.

The trial is due to continue on December 11.
