Trial in Absence of Public
The trial of Mirko Lukic, who is charged with having raped asixteen-year old girl in Caparde village, Osmaci municipality, in June 1992,has begun before the District Court in Bijeljina.

Considering the fact that the indictee is on trial fora crime against morality and a possibility of the injured party’s privacy beingundermined during the trial, the Trial Chamber decided to excluderepresentatives of the media from this trial.
Lukic, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, ischarged with having taken the injured party out of a house, where a small groupof non-Serb women were detained, in Caparde village in 1992, threatened theinjured party and raped her twice, using force. After that he allegedly headedin an unknown direction.
