The Cantonal Prosecution requested the Sarajevo Cantonal Court to order one-month custody for suspect Boljak, whom the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA arrested on October 19, 2011.
“The suspect has been held for 24 hours as per an order issued by the Cantonal Prosecutor. In that period he was examined about the circumstances related to the crime charged upon him,” the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution’s announcement reads.
The Cantonal Prosecution in Sarajevo is conducting an investigation against Boljak on suspicion that he tortured, abused and mentally mistreated civilians in Ilidza municipality, Sarajevo.
