International media report that Cvetkovic’s attorney Nick Kaufman said that he would consider appealing the decision rendered by the Court in Jerusalem.

Cvetkovic was arrested in Israel. In 2010 Bosnia and Herzegovina filed a request for his extradition. He arrived in Israel in 2006. He is married to an Israeli woman. He has citizenship of that country.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina suspects him of having participated in the murder of more than 800 men and boys on Branjevo military farm in Pilica, Zvornik municipality in July 1995.

Israeli media say that the extradition procedure may even last up to two and a half years, adding that a person, whose extradition has been requested, has the right to file appeals with higher instance courts.

Franc Kos, Stanko Kojic, Vlastimir Golijan and Zoran Goronja, former members of the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad, are on trial before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the murders on Branjevo farm.

Marko Boskic, former member of that Squad, was sentenced to ten years in prison for that same crime.
