State Prosecutor Slavica Terzic presented decisions rendered by the District Court in Prijedor which “pronounced death”, along with death certificates for seven Bosniaks who were last seen on August 21, 1992.

She introduced the death certificates of Serif and Fadil Blazevic, Almir and Edin Fazlic, Said Vehabovic, Elvin Kaukovic and Ahmet Krkic.

The Prosecution considers that, on August 21, 1992, Sasa Zecevic, Radoslav Knezevic, Petar Civcic, Branko Topola and Marinko Ljepoja escorted a convoy of more than 1,200 civilians who were transported from Prijedor to Travnik. The indictees allegedly participated in the separation of about 200 men from the rest of the convoy passengers, whom they shot at Koricanske stijene.

The indictment alleges that Zecevic, Knezevic, Civcic and Ljepoja were members of the Interventions Squad with the Public Safety Station in Prijedor and Topola was a guard in Trnopolje detention camp at the time.

Among other things, Terzic introduced numerous pieces of evidence from the Hague Tribunal, as well as lists of members of the Interventions Squad with the Public Safety Station in Prijedor.

“The lists, which include individual indictees’ names, were signed by Commanders Dusan Jankovic and Milutin Cadjo,” the Prosecutor said.

A separate trial is currently underway against Dusan Jankovic, who is considered by the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina to have been Commander of the Public Safety Station in Prijedor, Zoran Babic, Milorad Radakovic, Milorad Skrbic and Zeljko Stojnic, former members of the Interventions Squad, for crimes committed at Koricanske stijene.

Prosecutor Terzic also introduced two photographs made by the team which swept the terrain at Koricanske stijene.

The trial is due to continue on November 11.
