The trial of Ratko Mladic at The Hague resumed with the presentation of evidence on the murders of Bosniaks and Croats, which, according to the indictment, were committed by forces under Mladic’s command across Bosnia and Herzegovina in the summer of 1992. Witness for the Prosecution, Safet Taci described how, in late July 1992, he was a witness to the murder of around 150 prisoners in the Keraterm camp near Prijedor.

28. June 2012.
The Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Alija Osmic to three years of prison for war crimes committed against prisoners of war in Bugojno in 1993 and 1994. Osmic was found guilty of physically and mentally abusing imprisoned members of the Croatian Defence Council held in a garage in the village of Donjici, Marxist Centre and offices of the BH Bank in Bugojno.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has revealed that the trial of three men charged with crimes in the Viktor Bubanj army barracks in Sarajevo will begin on March 22 with the reading of the indictment and opening statements.

At the session of the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecution asked that Slavko Lalovic be sentenced to a longer prison sentence, while the Defence asked that the first instance verdict be abolished over the violation of the criminal procedure and incorrectly established facts.

11. January 2012.
Testifying in Defence of indictees Besim Muderizovic and Ramiz Avdovic, witnesses deny the allegations that the indictees contacted them in order to influence witnesses, as specified in an official note made by the State Investigation and Protection Agency.

28. December 2011.
At the trial for crimes in the municipality of Srebrenik, a witness for the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that he did not know who beat him several times in the village of Rapatnica, where he was held in captivity in the summer of 1992. Witness Blazan Todic said that in mid-July 1992 he was taken to Rapatnica, where he was held captive for 16 days, adding that he was not active in the military.


7. December 2011.
At the trial for crimes in Dretelj detention camp, Capljina municipality, a State Prosecution witness says that detainees were afraid of indictee Drazen Mikulic, because he stood out as being aggressive.
