A status conference established that a court expert testifying for the district prosecution of Eastern Sarajevo would testify again at the retrial of Dragisa Cacic, Milenko Cacic and Vojo Motika.
The court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was not able to come to a decision on imposing custody measures for former Bosnian Serb fighters Ilija Vukasinovic, Milos Vukasinovic, Pero Radovic, and Sasa Perkovic, because the state prosecution did not clearly phrase its request for custody measures.
During a status conference held prior to the beginning of the retrial for Rogatica crimes a proposal is made not to invite witnesses and Prosecutions experts, except neurologist and psychiatrist Alma Bravo-Mehmedbasic, to testify again.
The state must pay more than 380,000 Marks (190,000 Euros) to former war crimes indictees as compensation for the time they spent in custody before being acquitted by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. However many of the former indictees are still unhappy.
