The Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina appoints a new Defence attorney for Djordjislav Askraba, who is charged with crimes in Kalinovik, after his previous attorney Ziko Krunic was released from duty at his own request.

At the trial of Veselin Batko Vlahovic, a State Prosecution witness says that the indictee beat him up with a wooden stick in a gym in Pale in May 1992.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed custody extension motion for Veselin Vlahovic, known as Batko, who is charged with crimes committed in Grbavica and Vraca, Sarajevo. The Defence has not objected to the motion.

The trial for crimes committed in Rogatica, conducted before the War Crimes Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, begins with the reading of the indictment and the presentaiton of introductory arguments by the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Of five witnesses invited by the Defence seven days ago, only one has appeared at the hearing.
