Testifying in defence of four indictees at the trial for crimes in Trusina, a witness says that Nedzad Hodzic and Rasema Handanovic were among the persons who participated in the murder of several captives who had been lined up against a wall.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina requests a two-month custody extension for Nedzad Hodzic, who is suspected of crimes committed in Silos and Krupa in Hadzici and Musala in Konjic.

On the second day of his testimony in the trial for crimes in Trusina near Konjic, the accused Mensur Memic stated that after having joined Zulfikar Unit of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ABiH) on 7 April 1993 he was not immediately assigned to take part in the operation.

As said at a status conference, indictees Mensur Memic and Dzevad Salcin are due to testify in their defence at the trial for crimes in Trusina, near Konjic, while Nihad Bojadzic may appear as a witness as well.

At the trial of six indictees charged with crimes committed in Trusina, Prosecution witness Elmedin Causevic says that indictee Zulfikar Alispago asked soldiers to respect the rules of war and he became dear to them because of that.

Presenting its closing statements at the retrial for crimes committed in Vojno, near Mostar, the Defence of indictee Dragan Sunjic says that the Prosecution has not proved the crimes for which he is charged, calling on the Appellate Chamber to render a verdict of release.

Dragan Sunjic expresses his suspicion that the evidence, introduced by his Defence, will not be considered unless explained in detail at the main trial.
