A former prisoner told the trial of Croatian Defence Council ex-fighter Azra Basic that a woman assaulted and humiliated him while he was in captivity in Derventa in 1992. Prosecution witness Cedo Prodic told the state court in Sarajevo on Friday that he and other prisoners were beaten up by a woman called Azra while they were being held at a military building in Derventa in April 1992.

At the trial of the former head of the Serb Crisis Committee in the Vogosca municipality, a witness said the village of Svrake came under attack and then a death threat allegedly arrived from the defendant.

A defence witness said former policeman Ivica Cutura, who is on trial for the murders, inhumane treatment and unlawful detention of Bosniak civilians, had helped him and could not be guilty.

Two former Bosnian Serb soldiers and an ex-policeman were charged with crimes against humanity over the torture and subsequent forced disappearance of six Bosniaks from Visegrad in 1992. The state prosecution filed an indictment on Friday charging Momir, Petar and Mirko Tasic with committing crimes against humanity in the Visegrad area during wartime.

At the trial of Naser Oric and Sabahudin Muhic, a defence witness testified that another Bosniak commander said he took revenge on a Serb judge who the defendants are accused of killing.

A prosecution witness at the trial of Jovan Tintor for crimes against humanity in Vogosca said the defendant threatened to kill all the Bosniaks in the area in May 1992. Prosecution witness Bilal Hasanovic, the former president of the Vogosca Municipal Assembly, told the state court in Sarajevo on Monday that in May 1992, Tintor, who was the head of the Serb Crisis Committee in the area at the time, threatened to “kill all your people in Vogosca”.

A defence witness at the trial of eight men accused of mistreating wartime detainees in Hadzici said prisoners at the Krupa and Silos military barracks had access to medical care and were not abused.

In closing arguments in the trial of ex-soldier Marko Milosevic, his defence lawyer said the prosecution had not proved that the defendant was guilty of involvement in killing hundreds of Srebrenica Bosniaks.

Testifying at the trial of five ex-policemen for the genocide of Bosniaks from Srebrenica, a prosecution witness said a Bosnian Serb soldier killed around ten men in a warehouse in Konjevic Polje in July 1995. Prosecution witness Rodoljub Milanovic told the state court in Sarajevo on Tuesday that a uniformed soldier shot the Bosniaks dead in Konjevic Polje on July 12, 1995.
