Former Bosnian Serb soldier Bosko Devic was sentenced to ten years in prison for crimes against humanity for his involvement in the murders of four Bosniaks in the Kljuc area in 1992. The Bosnian state court in Sarajevo found former soldier Bosko Devic guilty on Friday of having participated in the murders of four Bosniaks in the village of Gornji Kamicak in the Kljuc area on August 11, 1992.

Former Bosnian Serb policemen Darko Mrdja and Zoran Babic were sentenced to 15 years in prison each for murders and other crimes against Bosniaks in the Prijedor area in 1992. The Bosnian state court on Friday found ex-policemen Darko Mrdja and Zoran Babic guilty of participating in the persecution of the Bosniak population of the Prijedor area as part of a widespread and systematic attack by the Bosnian Serb Army and police force in July and August 1992.

Former Bosnian Serb battalion commander Ostoja Stanisic was sentenced to five years in prison for assisting the commission of genocide of Bosniaks from Srebrenica in July 1995. The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court on Thursday upheld the conviction of Ostoja Stanisic, the former commander of the Sixth Battalion of the Bosnian Serb Army’s Zvornik Brigade, but reduced his sentence from 11 to five years.
