Four wartime Bosnian Croat policemen were acquitted of criminal responsibility for the killings of three members of a Bosniak family during an operation in Capljina in 1993. The Bosnian state court in Sarajevo on Wednesday acquitted Nikola Zovko, Petar Krndelj, Kreso Rajic and Ivica Cutura of committing crimes against the Bosniak population in the Capljina area in July 1993.

Former Bosnian Serb Army soldier Djorgje Simic was indicted for crimes against humanity against non-Serb civilians in the Doboj area in 1992 and 1993. The Bosnian state court on Thursday confirmed the indictment of Djorgje Simic, who is accused of involvement in the persecution of the non-Serb civilian population in the Doboj municipality from May 1992 until autumn 1993.

Former Bosnian Serb soldiers Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic were sentenced to 11 years in prison each for killing five Bosniak civilians, including two children, in the Cajnice area in 1992. The state court in Sarajevo on Friday found Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic, all former members of the Third Podrinjska Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, guilty of having killed five Bosniak civilians, including two children, in the village of Medosevici in the Cajnice municipality in June 1992.

Former Bosnian Army soldier Jasmin Coloman was sentenced to three years in prison for his involvement in the murder of detained Croat civilians in the Vitez area in 1993. The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court on Friday convicted Coloman, a former member of the Commando Squad of the Bosnian Army’s Seventh Muslim Brigade, of participating in the murder of Croat civilians, who were detained in the village of Poculica in the Vitez area on April 24, 1993.
