The trial of Edin Dzeko, accused of war crimes committed in Jablanica and the village of Trusina near Konjic, will begin on Tuesday, August 21, when the opening arguments would be presented.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina considers that, should they be released to liberty, Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are charged with genocide against Srebrenica residents, would hide evidence and influence witnesses and accomplices, so it files a custody extension motion.

At the trial of Bozidar Kuvelja, who is charged with genocide against the residents of Srebrenica, the State Prosecutor reads a summary of a statement given by the late Luka Markovic, containing a description of shooting of prisoners in Kravica Agricultural Co-operative, near Bratunac in July 1995. Prosecutor Ibro Bulic said that Markovic was Manager of the Co-operative in Kravica, when Srebrenica residents were brought to the Co-operative by 17 buses on July 13, 1995.

At the trial of Dragan Neskovic and Zoran Ilic, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina presents its last pieces of material evidence, including an order issued by the Main Headquarters of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS related to the preparation for an attack on Srebrenica and Zepa in July 1995. Prosecutor Erik Larson explained that the document, which was issued on June 18, 1995, ordered the apprehension of able-bodied men from Serbia and said that soldiers could be absent from their units only if they had to undergo medical treatment.

The Bosnian State police have arrested Bosnian Serbs Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, under suspicion that they took part in the Srebrenica genocide in July 1995. Stanisic and Milosevic were arrested by the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, in the territory of Zvornik.

Testifying at the trial of indictees Muhidin Basic and Mirsad Sijak, a State Prosecution’s medical expert witness says that, on the basis of his conversation with protected witness A, he determined that she demonstrated signs that were attributive to a multiple rape victim.

Testifying at the trial of six former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, a protected State Prosecution witness says that he witnessed the shooting of soldiers and civilians in Trusina village, Konjic municipality, which was committed by his comrades as per an order issued by indictee Nedzad Hodzic.
