Miljevic, a former Bosnian Serb Army soldier, was found guilty of killing Azema Kucukovic in the village of Gornji Budelj in August 1992.
“The prosecution proved his guilt beyond all doubt. Witnesses Jovica Oklandzija and Milan Radisic were especially important,” presiding judge Jasminka Karabegovic said.
The time Miljevic spent in custody, spanning May 19-June 10, 2015, will count toward his sentence.
Miljevic didn’t attend the sentencing hearing.
This verdict can be appealed.
