Radoncic was ordered into one month custody after the Court found that there is reasonable fear that, if at liberty, he might influence witnesses, accomplices or accessories, or that he might destroy evidence important to the criminal proceedings, as well as because particular circumstances justify a fear that he will repeat the same or similar criminal offense.

The State Protection and Investigation Agency, SIPA, arrested Radoncic, head of the Alliance for a Better Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SBBBiH, and a delegate to the House of Peoples in Bosnia’s parliament on Monday. He is accused of having obstructed the work of the judiciary.

Two weeks earlier, Bosnian authorities accused a member of Radoncic’s party, Bakir Dautbasic, and his partner, Bilsena Sahman, of the same offence. The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina ordered detention for both of them.
