Soldo, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, has been charged with unlawfully detaining a Bosniak woman in a bungalow on Boracko Lake within a Bosnian Serb Army camp, where he raped her and forced her to perform hard labour throughout June and July 1992.

The state prosecution previously announced that the injured party had been forced to clean bungalows as well as wash military uniforms and footwear in the camp, while being subjected to mistreatment and humiliation.

“Other unknown members of the VRS , as well as soldiers from Serbia, raped her as well. Due to threats to her life, she had to change her name and religion,” the state prosecution announced.

Soldo is defending himself at liberty.
