The prohibitive measures against Bajraktarevic include a ban on leaving his place of residence, a ban on traveling, a ban on meeting certain individuals and an obligation to report to a police station twice a week.
If Bajraktarevic violates any of the above measures, he may be ordered into custody.
Bajraktarevic is suspected of having committed acts of torture, abuse, assault, and rape, and of forcing prisoners to have sexual intercourse with each other.
The Bosnian state prosecution suspects Bajraktarevic committed these crimes when he was a member of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army. The Fifth Corps allegedly held members of the National Defense of the Western Bosnia Autonomous Region in an improvised prison in the command building of the 505th Brigade of the Bosnian Army, located at the Radoc Motel in Buzim.
The State Investigation and Protection Agency arrested Bajraktarevic on April 6. He has been held in custody since.
