Prosecutor Cazim Hasanspahic requested the exclusion of the public during the testimony of a protected witness known as S-1. The trial chamber accepted the proposal, citing the protection of the witness’ personal interests.

Defendants Mitar Vlasenko, Rade Vlasenko, and Drago Koncar have been charged with participating in the persecution of the non-Serb civilian population in Kozarac and the surrounding villages in the municipality of Prijedor, from May-August 1992.

The indictment alleges that killings and forced disappearances were carried out within the scope of the persecution.

The trial will continue on March 27.
