As the trial of Nihad Bojadzic for crimes in Jablanica continues, the Defence presents material evidence referring to conditions in which Croat detainees were held in “The Battle of Neretva” Museum.
The evidence presented by the Defence included video recordings, containing footage by a local TV station from Jablanica, as well as Italian RAI UNO TV, made in 1993.
Besides that, it presented a report on the work of the collection centre in “The Battle of Neretva” Museum, which was made by military police in May 1993, as well as an official note by civil police referring to contacts with UNPROFOR in August 1993.
The Defence said that, by presenting those pieces of evidence, it wanted to prove the functioning and security guarding of the Museum.
Bojadzic, a former Deputy Commander of “Zulfikar” Unit with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, is charged with the beating, sexual abuse and rape of Croat detainees, who were held in the Museum premises in 1993.
The trial is due to continue on January 29, when Defence witnesses will be examined.
