Fundup surrendered to the Bosnian State Investigation and Protection Agency on Thursday.

“It is suspected that in mid-1992 in Cohodar Street in Foca, he and two other individuals, killed several people with automatic weapons, mostly women and children of Bosniak ethnicity. Among them were children aged 13 and six years,” the state prosecution said in a statement.

The prosecution also suspects Fundup and another unknown person of taking three Bosniak civilians, two of whom were children aged between 12 and 14, to the bank of the River Drina in order to execute them in mid-1992.

Police handed Fundup over to the prosecution, which will decide after a hearing whether to remand him in custody.
