Antonic has been ordered into custody due to a danger that he might flee and a fear that he might hide evidence or influence witnesses and accomplices.

The State Prosecution suspects Antonic, who was arrested on Thursday, November 27, with having participated, along with other persons, in crimes against the Bosniak population in Zecovi village, near Prijedor.

“The Prosecution of BiH is conducting an investigation into war crimes against the Bosniak population in Zecovi village, near Prijedor, in 1992, when more than 150 victims were killed. Some of them were found in Tomasica mass grave and identified. Twenty-nine more women and children were also killed, but their bodies are still being searched for,” the Prosecution announced.

The State Court previously ordered 13 persons, who are suspected of crimes in Zecovi, into custody.
