Arrested for Crimes in Bosanski Brod

Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, arrest Mate Condric due to a suspicion that he committed war crimes in the Bosanski Brod area.

Condric, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is suspected of having participated in the rape and sexual abuse of women who were detained at “Polet” stadium in Bosanski Brod during 1992.

The arrest was conducted as per an order issued by the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, which will examine the suspect. The Prosecution of BiH will then decide whether to file a custody order motion with the State Court or not.
