The Defence of Zeljki Ilic had no questions for State Prosecution witness Edin Bajramovic, who began testifying on June 17 this year, when he said that Miroslav Duka abused him in the Public Safety Station in the second half of 1992.

“The Defence of indictee Ilic has no questions, because this witness did not mention our client,” said Milorad Rasevic, Defence attorney of indictee Ilic.

Bajramovic, who said that he no longer lived at the address reported as his place of residence, did not reveal his current address, when asked by judge Minka Kreho to do so.

“I would not reveal it for my own sake and for the sake of my child, because of the threats with attacks,” Bajramovic said.

Kreho said that the Court had received official notes on the events reported by this witness.

“The Court has got four or five official notes on what you did, what you reported. (…) What you did to indictee Zeljko Ilic and his son,” Kreho said, but she did not explain her allegations further.

Goran Vujovic, Miroslav Duka and Zeljko Ilic are charged with crimes committed in Bileca.

According to the charges, Vujovic was Chief of the Public Safety Station in Bileca, Duka was Commander of Police and Ilic was policeman.

Vujovic and Duka are charged with having enabled and organized the detention of Bosniak and Croat civilians in the Public Safety Station building and Students’ Dormitory in Bileca, where detainees were killed, tortured and abused, while Ilic is charged with having participated in the physical and mental abuse, torture and murder of Bosniaks and Croats.

The trial is due to continue on October 14.
