The trial of Popovic is due to begin on Wednesday, June 11 after the case against him was separated from the case against his father Jovan due to health problems.

Goran Popovic, former guard in “Uzamnica” detention camp, is charged with having participated in the abuse, beating, torture and sexual abuse of Bosniak men and women, who were held in the detention camp.

On Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10 the trial is due to continue in the case against Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica.

Indictee Nihad Bojadzic is due to continue testifying in his defence at the trial for crimes in Trusina, Konjic municipality, on Monday next week. Bojadzic is on trial, along with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic and Senad Hakalovic, for crimes in Trusina.

Bojadzic is on a separate trial for crimes committed in the Jablanica area. The continuation of that trial is scheduled for Thursday, June 12.

The trial of Savo Tepic, Dusko Vujicic, Dragoslav Bojic, Dusko Maksimovic, Radojko Keverovic, Rade Skoric and Ilija Kurusic, who are charged with crimes in Kotor-Varos in 1992, is due to continue with the examination of State Prosecution witnesses on Monday.

On that same day Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Dragan Sekaric, who is charged with crimes in the Gorazde and Visegrad area.

The trial of Ivan Zelenika, Edib Buljubasic, Srecko Herceg, Ivan Medic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic, who are charged with crimes in Dretelj, near Capljina, is due to continue on Tuesday, June 10. On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case against Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic, who are charged with crimes in Visegrad.

The trials of Vitomir Rackovic, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad, and Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are indicted for genocide in Srebrenica, are due to continue on Wednesday, June 11 when Prosecution witnesses will be examined.

On Thursday new Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trials of Nikola Maric, who is charged with crimes in Prozor, Indira Kameric, who is charged with crimes in Bosanski Brod, as well as Nedzad Hodzic and Dzevad Salcin, who are indicted for crimes on Mount Igman, near Sarajevo.

On Friday, June 13 the trials are due to continue in the case against Ibro Macic, who is charged with crimes in Konjic, as well as Josip Tolic for crimes in Odzak and Bosanski Brod, as well as Vehid Subotic, who is indicted for crimes in Dusina village, Zenica.

On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case against Safet Mujcinovic, Selman Busnov, Nusret Muhic, Zijad Hamzic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Hariz Habibovic, Osman Gogic and Kahro Vejzovic.

The retrial of Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic for crimes in Krajina continues before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday next week.
