On the sixth day of his testimony Bojadzic was cross-examined by Prosecutor Emir Neradin, who pointed to differences between a statement, which the indictee gave in the capacity of a suspect during the investigation, and his testimony in the courtroom.
As said by the Prosecutor, Bojadzic, former Deputy Commander of Zulfikar Squad with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, said, in a statement given following his arrest in 2009, that he visited Commander Zulfikar Alispago on April 16, 1993 and that Alispago informed him about the wounded and told him to go to a war hospital in Suhodol, Hadzici municipality, in order to make preparations for their admission to hospital.
The Prosecutor said that this was a chain of actions, while the indictee explained the differences between his statements by the state of shock in which he was during his examination following his arrest.
I swear to God, I had nothing to do with Trusina, Bojadzic said.
The Prosecutor called on the indictees allegation that he knew when he would be arrested and asked him how could have he possibly been in a state of shock. The indictee responded: I did not know that 22 people got killed. I did not know that I gave the order to kill 22 people.
Testifying at the trial, Bojadzic said that he found out about the Trusina village in the afternoon hours on April 16, 1993 after two wounded members of Zulfikar Squad had been brought to Bradina.
Bojadzic is on trial, along with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, former members of Zulfikar Squad, and Senad Hakalovic, former member of Neretvica Brigade of ABiH, for crimes in Trusina.
Bojadzic is charged with having ordered his soldiers to attack Trusina and allegedly ordered that nobody should stay alive in the village, while commanding the attack via communication means from a nearby hill. Memic is charged with having participated in the murders.
Responding to questions by the Defence attorney of indictee Memic, Bojadzic said that Memic did not participate in the Trusina operation.
Mensur Memic was on Mount Igman for sure, the indictee said.
The trial is due to continue on June 9.
