The Defence of Milisavljevic included, in the case file, a stamped copy of a statement given by witness Ferid Spahic on September 11, 1992, which the Defence obtained from the Intelligence and Security Agency, OSA, of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

State Prosecutor Dzevad Muratbegovic objected to the authenticity of Ferid Spahic’s signature on the mentioned statement.

Due to the dispute regarding the signature, the Trial Chamber announced that it would present new pieces of evidence, so it would invite the persons, who originally took the statement, to appear as witnesses.

Milisavljevic is charged, along with Ljubomir Tasic and Milos Pantelic, with having participated, in collaboration with other armed members of the Serbian Army and police, in the forced resettlement of Bosniaks from the Visegrad area on June 14, 1992.

According to the charges, Milisavljevic and Pantelic were reserve policemen with the Public Safety Station in Visegrad, while Tasic was member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS.

Once the Trial Chamber has examined its witnesses, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tasic’s Defence will present additional pieces of evidence.

The trial is due to continue on April 29.
